This memorial website was created to celebrate the life of our loved one, Fred Nathan Lewey.
We love you, Fred, and we miss you.
You were an active, intelligent, outgoing and fun-loving man. You were always up for an adventure - you enjoyed travelling, seeing new places, meeting new people and being the "entertainer". You loved sports, especially soccer, which is why you spent many years of your life being a youth soccer referee. But you also liked quiet activities like swimming, watching movies, reading books and playing (miniture) golf, chess or backgammon.
You were always there when you were needed. You knew what was good for your loved ones and yourself, and you wouldn't settle for less.
You were such a loving and caring companion, giving all your love and support. You were always there to offer a shoulder to lean on and some advice. You always made me feel like I was the queen of your world. And I hope you knew you were the king of mine. We shared so many happy moments, joy and laughter. They will never be forgotten.
(And there's another thing one really must mention when talking about you: You just loved your hamburgers and hot dogs ;-)
Fred, you'll be missed forever, and you will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again.
Fred N. Lewey was born on February 12, 1944 and passed away on November 22, 2004.
Please excuse all the missing information. I'm still working on this website. The video section will be updated with longer videos soon.
Stars Someone blew the candle out, and now it is time to contemplate the stars.
Transformation I died to the mineral state and became a plant I died to the vegetative state and became an animal. I died there and became human. What have I ever lost by dying? When was I less after death? When I shall bow down and die to being human, I will lift my head to wake among the angels, and I will move on from there as well.
Rumi (Persian poet)
Ed and Cheryl Martin about Fred: "Fred Lewey ... is always first in answering the call for help. He is employed in the computer field and has a successful practice of hypnosis in the Kingwood area. Fred does what he says he will do and we are grateful for his promotion of the field of Hypnosis."
